About the route
From Åndalsnes up Isterdalen and the eleven hairpins of Trollstigen to the mountain, then down Valldalen to Valldal on the Norddalsfjord. The climb itself sits on a steep mountainside where the wind rarely reaches you; on the plateau above and down Valldalen you are more exposed. The climb is about 850 m from Åndalsnes to the top.
